What Size Battery Do I Need for my ATV or Quad?

 

ATVs usually require 12 volt batteries that are often used in motorcycles as well. A power sports battery needs to provide a high enough output needed to start your four-wheeler or quad. What makes these batteries different are the cold cranking amp, or CCA, output. As your ATV ages, batteries with higher CCA will continue to provide the power you need.
