In 1957, Auto Meter Products, Inc. first product was a variable load carbon pile tester. After 50 years
and many improvements, Auto Meter still offers carbon pile testers. Their testers are consistently recognized as the preferred product by technicians worldwide. All of Auto Meter’s testers utilize the
Battery Council International (BCI) testing protocol as a baseline for their test methods. Auto Meter
has since expanded those test methods with the development of patented Advanced Digital Pulse
Load Technology. The DPL technology that powers each of these superior bench and hand held

BVA-200s
The BVA-200s is a tester for most battery and electrical systems. This tester
utilizes Advanced DPL Technology. The information for each test is stored and
the last 200 tests can be retrieved by displaying them on its LCD screen,
downloading to the optional AC-15 infrared printer, or by downloading to a
personal computer with the AC-12 PC adapter cable. Rugged Anodized
aluminum housing makes this a very durable unit.

BCT-200J
Designed for the heavy-duty industry where accuracy is extremely important.
Advanced DPL Technology is used for battery testing, including a battery bank
test, to shorten the battery test procedure. Firmware includes Auto Meter's
innovative automated-voltage drop test and J1708 information retrieval. This
tester stores the last 120 tests which can be retrieved on its LCD display,
printed to the optional AC-15 infrared printer, or downloaded to a personal
computer with the AC-10 PC adapter cable.
