Are all the batteries you sell NEW?
YES! All the batteries we sell are Brand NEW. We will NEVER -- NEVER NEVER EVER -- sell you a refirbished battery. PERIOD.
Why are your batteries so much less expensive than other stores?
Honestly, we have no idea. We know that several online retailers buy their batteries from the same places we do, and we can't figure it out either. Perhaps it has something to do with the amount of volume we sell, or the fact we buy only on demand and keep our overhead low, or maybe it's because we believe you shouldn't have to pay $150 for a battery that you could just as easily buy from us for $75... We operate by a very simple "golden rule" -- We treat you how we would like to be treated -- Fairly. Chances are if someone is charging you 50-100% more than we are, it's because they "have" to... We would urge you to ask yourself before you buy, "Is the company I'm buying batteries from, someone's WEB STORE or am I buying batteries from a BATTERY Store ON the WEB?"
How fresh are your batteries?
In a word..? SUPERFRESH! Our batteries are the freshest possible because of our ON-DEMAND buying. This keeps batteries fresh and rotated on a regular basis. Most small SLA batteries and ALL MULTI-ORDER DEEP CYCLE batteries are shipped direct from the factory to ensure they are matched to others from their "batch" and are the most recently manufactured.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All Domestic orders (contiguous 48 States – No AK, HI, PR) received by 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time will usually ship within 3 business days, though most orders are usually filled and shipped within 24-48 hours. Orders received after 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Fridays, will be filled and shipped the following week. All orders are shipped via FED Ex Ground or UPS Ground (unless expedited service is designated) from one of our ten Powerstride Battery Locations or our vendors’ warehouses. Once your order has been shipped, shipment confirmation and anticipated delivery date will be emailed to you.
Do you charge Sales Tax?
Yes. By law, we charge sales tax to our California customers based on their shipping address and for products shipped TO California from Out-of-State customers. Wholesale customers in California do not pay tax, and will be refunded sales tax once a Resale Number is filed in our corporate office at 122 Enterprise Court, Corona, CA 92882.

Your store charged me the wrong Sales Tax Rate in California! What do I do now?
California Sales Tax is calculated by Delivery or Ship To zip code. Unfortunately, some zip codes in California do NOT reflect accurate sales tax rates in our store calculator for some cities. Please complete the checkout process, and send us an email with your order number at help@powerstridebattery.com explaining the error and the correct sales tax rate for your delivery address and we'll be happy to refund the difference!
Why am I charged Sales Tax on Overnight and Expedited shipping in California?
Since we offer free GROUND shipping on ALL of our orders, Expedited and Time Definite Shipping is an optional "service" and it is taxable under California Law when applied to shipments TO California Addresses. Therefore, your full Item and Shipping total will be taxed before checkout. To avoid paying taxes on any shipping or handling charge, select our FREE Ground Shipping which is available on EVERY item in our store.
What if the item I want is out of stock?
Occassionaly, we are out of stock on some items before we are aware of inventory levels.
This unfortunately cannot be avoided.
If your order was accepted and credit card charged and your item is out of stock, we will make every attempt to notify you by email AND telephone within 24 hours (by Monday a.m. if order placed after Noon on Fridays) to determine if you wish to keep your order valid until such time the item can be shipped, or cancel your order for a full refund.

Do you ship Internationally or to FPO AP or AE addresses?
Yes, we do ship internationally but there is a $300.00 minimum order for International Orders. International Orders also require advance payment by wire transfer or Credit Card prior to shipment. Please contact the Customer Service Department Directly for assistance in processing your International Order, calculating shipping costs, and payment arrangements as most international transactions require additional time and detail in processing.
Attention FPO AP & AE CUSTOMERS:
WE GLADLY SHIP TO FPO AP and AE address for most items via US Postal Service for an additional charge. Please allow extra time in processing your AP or AE order and email us at help@powerstridebattery.com to find out if your item qualifies for FREE SHIPPING to your FPO AP or AE address!
How do I return my order?

Once obtaining a Return Authorization from our Customer Service Department, you can return your item with its original box and packaging materials. If the return is a result of Powerstride Battery’s error (wrong item shipped to you, item damaged in transit) you may return your item at no cost to you.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may obtain a Return Authorization from our Customer Service Department within 20 days of the date of your order for a full refund minus a 15% restocking fee. Click here to see our complete return policy.
Do you have anything in the back?
Okay, it’s not really frequently asked, but just like in real store – when you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask! You can always call our toll-free number and talk to a REAL LIVE PERSON in our Customer Service Department if you call Monday - Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
Can I pick up my order order at a Powerstride Location?
Unfortunately, no. Some internet store items are available ONLINE ONLY, and pricing may vary from each Powerstride Location on items availble in our stores based to local demand and availability.
Do you offer discounts of any kind?
Yes! Yes! And Yes! Powerstride Battery offers GOVERNMENT Discounts, periodic coupon discounts, volume discounts for large orders, price matching discounts, and wholesale/dealer discounts where applicable. Can I track my order?
Absolutely! You should receive an email notification and FED Ex or UPS tracking information telling you when and where your order is and when it can be expected.

Powerstride Battery Company Inc. has been in business since 1926. We love our customers and want to keep them! That is why we are committed to protecting your right to privacy. In keeping with that commitment, we are providing you with details about the information we collect while doing business.

To process and ship your order, we need your name, phone number, billing address, shipping address, credit card information and e-mail address. This information is stored on a secure server to allow us to process subsequent orders more quickly. On occasion we may notify our customers about specials but will never share your mailing address with other companies. To guard against credit card fraud, we offer secure online ordering using the latest encryption technology offered and by using SSL protection by GeoTrust and I.D. and Credit Card Protection from McAfee. The connection between your browser and our servers is encrypted with industry-standard technology, which scrambles ordering information so that only your browser and our servers can decipher it.
